Although the numbers of children with high level Complex Health Needs are always low these long awaited, recently published guidelines will be of interest to any families who are going through this process or who may under consideration for Continuing Care. This guidance very clearly lays out what to expect, how parents are involved along with children and young people too of course, if they are able. NHS Norfolk already has a Continuing Care Commissioning Nurse and a multi-agency panel to look at all local cases. For further information any families would need to speak to their Paediatrician or Community Nursing team.
