FAMILY VOICE NORFOLK Conference and Exhibition 2012

Family Voice Norfolk is hosting it’s second full day conference for the parents and carers of children with special and additional needs.

This is a unique opportunity to have your voice heard and to learn more about the services and the resources available to support you and your family ..... see below

Saturday 10 March 2012. Open from 9.15am to 4pm
John Innes Centre, Norwich, NR4 7UH
(Near the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital - plenty of parking)


All places are free but they are limited so book early to avoid disappointment... booking includes refreshments, lunch and a specialist créche. Stay all day or come for as long as you can.

Speed dating style information sessions

We have also arranged for various service providers to offer free 15 minute individual consultation sessions (bookable on the day) where you can discuss specific issues with professionals on a one to one basis.

Workshops

Throughout the day there will be a series of 30 minute workshops run by providers from Children’s Services, Health, Education and the Voluntary Sector. They will share information on a range of topics and listen to your experiences and expertise.

Stands and Networking

Come along to browse and chat with a number of specialist organisations who will be there to talk to you throughout the day.

The morning plenary will be led by

Chris Walton, Head of Democratic Services, Norfolk County Council and Mary Legard from Norfolk LINk
"Developing a Local Healthwatch for Norfolk"..... a clearer way for families to be heard?
