Privacy and data protection
Our data protection policy can be found here.
Information given to us by families with children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) is essential in enabling us to represent families’ views and experiences to planners and decision-makers. In passing on families’ views and experiences, we will always anonymise information and remove any details that could identify you.
We will never give any of your private data (name, address, contact details, family circumstances) to any third party unless
- we have reason to be concerned that you, your family or someone else is being harmed or at risk of harm. You can read our safeguarding policy here.
- in exceptional circumstances, we are legally required to do so.
You are entitled to ask to see information we hold about you at any time.
The law governing data protection changes from time to time to address new technologies and their use of data. Family Voice Norfolk aims always to comply with whatever regulations are currently in place.
